Vividly colored, orange-red, lantern-shaped fruits.
Chinese Lanterns are largely grown for their vividly colored, orange-red, lantern-shaped fruits that can be cut and dried and used in bouquets. They are so easy to grow, thriving in almost any soil, sun or shade. Ideal for cottage garden borders, Chinese Lanterns “bloom” in late summer. They can spread quickly, so place them where they can be controlled. Good in large containers and fun to grow!
