Excellent for salads, slicing and pickling.
This heirloom was introduced in 1894 and is still a favorite today. These semi-bush type plants yield loads of intriguing cucumbers! They resemble lemons, but have the classic flavor of a cucumber. The flesh is very mild and sweet with a crunchy bite, and is best harvested when around the size of a golf ball. This old variety is a favorite among many cool season gardeners and is excellent for salads, slicing and pickling.
