The Chocolate Bhutlah is a cross between the Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Pepper) and the Douglah. Some have said that the Chocolate Bhutlah pepper could replace the Carolina Reaper as the hottest pepper in the world, but no official testing has been conducted. Pods have an earthy, chocolate brown color spread smoothly over its wrinkled texture. The pepper appears elongated and has an average size. The flavor is slightly smokey with fruity and floral notes initially. All of that quickly transforms into a blazing heat that will soon enough numb your tongue and throat, leaving it void of taste if you have too much of it at a time. When it comes to hot peppers, this pepper delivers incendiary heat. Oozes with hot capsaicin oil. Non-Isolated.

SHU: 1,500,000 - 2,000,000
