The Golden Slimer's unique, slime-like aesthetic, characterized by folds that either contract or expand with growth, presents a distinctive decorative appeal, making it a fascinating addition to any pepper collection.
1,000,000 SHU. This variation produces stubby-shaped peppers that are wrinkly. Originating from a mutation of the 7 Pot Slimer, which typically displays green pods with darker green or mustard variations, this strain boasts a delightfully sweet flavor. The 7 Pot Slimer, initially bred by John Ford and dubbed the 7 Pot Rust, was later stabilized by Kevin Bane to the distinct color and form known today. This gold variant first appeared during Monster Peppers' 2019 growing season, consistently exhibiting golden hues upon full ripeness since its emergence. However, it occasionally produces phenotypes that echo the appearance of its original green progenitor. The Golden Slimer's unique, slime-like aesthetic, characterized by folds that either contract or expand with growth, presents a distinctive decorative appeal, making it a fascinating addition to any pepper collection. Non-Isolated.
