If you like the Yellow Fatalii, you will love the rare red version.

This pepper originates from the Central African Republic. If you like the Yellow Fatalii, you will love the rare red version. A relative of the original Fatalii, the Red Fatalii is a large, spicy, thin-walled pepper with a sweet, fruity flavor and aroma. This variety was created by crossing the Red Devil's Tongue and the Yellow Fatalii. A great pepper for tropical hot sauces and salsas, the Red Fatalii can also be dried to make a flavorful chili powder. In addition to its fruity flavor, it also offers quite a kick as it averages about 125,000 to 400,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), making it slightly hotter than the Habanero pepper, but not quite as hot at the Ghost pepper. Non-Isolated.

SHU: 125,000 - 400,000
