These red peppers are from Jimmy Nardello, whose parents brought the seeds from the Basilicata region of Italy in 1887 when they immigrated to the United States. Plants are very productive and produce thin-walled, glossy-red pods that can reach 10” in length. These peppers are perfect for frying with a mild, deliciously sweet flavor. Whether cooked in a little olive oil, grilled, chopped, sauteed with other vegetables, or used raw, these peppers are simply spectacular. Non-Isolated.
