Delicious All-America Winning butternut.
A 1970 All-America Selections winner from Massachusetts. This delicious butternut produces highly uniform tan fruits that grow up to 8-10" long. Waltham has a creamy, rich, dry, yellow-orange flesh that has a nutty flavor. Each vine yields 4-5 squash, and they are excellent for storing. Try them steamed, boiled or baked.
