The Dwarf Snakebite Tomato is a standout variety from the Dwarf Tomato Project, introduced to the public in 2021. Developed as part of the "Grizzly" family by Patrina Nuske Small, this unique variety originated from a cross between the historic dwarf 'New Big Dwarf' and the indeterminate 'Grozny '91'. The selection and naming were completed by Amanda Fischer, with contributions from Craig LeHoullier, Michael Volk, Sherry Long, Damon Huck, Shawn Conant, Bill Minkey, and the Duntons.

This indeterminate dwarf tomato grows to a compact height of 3 to 4 feet, making it an excellent choice for small spaces or container gardening. The plants feature rugose, and regular leaf foliage and produce medium to large oblate fruits weighing between 4 and 16 ounces. The fruits are a beautiful pink color with a meaty texture and a tangy, tart flavor that is both bold and well-balanced, perfect for slicing and fresh eating.

The Dwarf Snakebite Tomato is a highly productive and recent addition to the world of tomatoes, combining the best traits of its parent varieties. Its manageable size, excellent flavor, and robust production make it a must-grow for both dwarf tomato enthusiasts and gardeners seeking flavorful, compact varieties.
