Tomato 'Eros' Seeds (Naturally Grown)

Eros is a rare Czech heirloom tomato, introduced in the 1970s, grown for its delightfully unusual long fruits with a tapered or gently forked tip that look like little golden torches on the vine. Midseason plants are tall and indeterminate, often reaching 6 feet or more, and typically begin ripening about 85 to 95 days from transplant with clusters of 5 to 7 fruits. The thick, firm flesh is meaty with few seeds and a sweet, fruity flavor that tastes great fresh and cooks down quickly into richly colored sauces, pastes, and preserves. Fruits commonly run 4 inches long and about 3 to 5 ounces, and they also keep impressively well after harvest, often holding for a couple of weeks when stored cool and dry.
