Mountain sweet goodness! This heirloom has been grown for generations in the Monongahela National Forest region of West Virginia. Fruits are 3-10 oz., orange-red, meaty, and perfectly round with a mild, but good tomato flavor. Very productive plants bear quick and early, making this variety a good choice for short growing seasons. A great choice for slicing or canning and the smooth and crack free fruits make it a good market tomato. This variety also grows well in containers!
