Originating in the Yucatan in Mexico, this heirloom pepper is commonly used for hot sauces. Red Habaneros are fiery hot, extremely pungent, and have a rating of 100,000-300,000 Scoville Heat Units. The peppers are lantern-shaped, small and wrinkled. They grow to 1-1 ½” long. Non-Isolated.
