The Scarlett's Chili is a cross between a Purple Tiger and a Jalapeno that was originally bred by Graeme Chaplin in Western Australia. The taste is sweet and reminiscent of the Jalapeno flavor and heat. It's quite the eye-catching, breathtaking variety that is definitely worth growing in your garden. It has beautiful ripening stages, from dark purple to different shades of violet with dark stripes to a final state of red with blotchy purple stripes. The plant is loaded with scarlet-colored pods and beautiful blossoms. The plant will produce pods growing to about 1" long. Non-Isolated.
