This variety was introduced in 1937 in the Burgess seed catalog. It is also known as the Italian Tree tomato and is a wonderful tasting pink tomato with firm flesh. This large tomato grows as big as 6 inches across! It has meaty centers with solid divisions and some ruffling. Unsurpassed for canning and slicing. They really are prolific, and they grew taller than any other tomato variety we've trialed! A unique variety indeed.
