These tomatoes stay fresh for 6-12 weeks, providing fresh tomatoes during the fall and into the winter.
This variety was introduced by Burpee in 1979. These tomatoes stay fresh for 6-12 weeks, providing fresh tomatoes during the fall and into the winter if unblemished and stored at 65° F. They can be harvested when they’re a light orange-red color, and will change to a medium-red color during storage. These 4-8 oz. thick-skinned round tomatoes are not as tasty as other varieties that are harvested in midsummer, but will be far tastier than store-bought during the late fall and winter!
