Meaty lime green flesh and a refreshing, zesty flavor that balances gentle sweetness with a bright, tangy bite. A unique addition to any grower's garden!
Rebel Starfighter VT16 is the green-when-ripe companion to Rebel Starfighter Prime, bred by Russ Crowe from a cross of Xanadu Picasso and RHK GWR Heart, and it produces showy oxheart fruits with metallic green striping and deep blue to purple shoulders in strong sun. Medium to large tomatoes typically weigh about 150 to 300 grams, with juicy, meaty lime green flesh and a refreshing, zesty flavor that balances gentle sweetness with a bright, tangy bite. Indeterminate vines with wispy, regular foliage and slender stems are generous producers from midseason to frost, so give them a sturdy cage or stake. Expect ripening in roughly 80 to 85 days from transplant, with good heat tolerance and the occasional delightfully odd fruit shape mixed in.
